Thèmes de recherche

Mes recherches se situent dans le champ de la cognition et du langage. Elles sont principalement centrées sur l’accès au lexique et le traitement des mots. Elles visent à caractériser les processus d’activation et d’inhibition des mots lus ou produits, les représentations impliquées (orthographiques, phonologiques, sémantiques), ainsi qu’à évaluer l’efficience de ces processus en fonction de caractéristiques individuelles (ex. vocabulaire, vieillissement, troubles, pathologies).  J’étudie aussi l’influence des caractéristiques langagières dans la mémorisation des mots.

Une partie de mes travaux porte sur la question du lien entre le langage et les émotions, abordée par l’étude du traitement des mots émotionnels et des caractéristiques affectives des individus

Mes recherches utilisent des protocoles expérimentaux originaux impliquant des tâches à mesures chronométriques, combinées avec des mesures physiologiques ou des indicateurs standardisés du fonctionnement cognitif ou affectif.
